Current statistics show that 66% of Americans are overweight.  Childhood obesity has increased by 400%.  American has one
of the highest percentages of Diabetes, Heart Disease and Cancer.  As reported by the National Cancer Society; there is a 1
in two chance a man will get cancer and a one in 3 chance a female will get cancer in their life time.

We mentioned this statistic before, but it is so staggering, it bears repeating! Prices for prescription drugs are skyrocketing.
In 2007, Americans spent $287 billion on prescription drugs, about five times as much as in 1993, according to Consumer
Reports and projections for 2010 are to be around $360 billion  for prescription drugs and over the counter medicines are
over $20 billion. Americans are spending more than 33% of their income on medications and insurance.

My personal experience with my mother who struggled most of her life with mis-management of stress in her life lead to high
blood pressure, mid-life type 2 diabetes, clogged arteries, heart attacks and many other of the symptoms that we have come
to accept in our culture as part of the aging process, lead her to having multiple strokes by the age of 60, spending  three
years in a nursing home and passing away at the young age of 63.

I made a vow to myself early on that I would do all that I knew to keep myself healthy and believed that, for the most part, I
was. I followed what I believed to be a healthy lifestyle in what I ate and drank and took time to exercise and take vitamins.
Over the past decade wherein a series of multiple, stressful, events occurred and admittedly, I allowed myself to be removed
from that place of peace.  Over an extended time this can lead to multiple failures in our physical bodies.

Some of the most common afflictions (there are many more than listed here) that we have come to
accept as part of the
“normal aging process” listed below are really an indication that one or more of the internal workings so meticulously
designed by our Creator has been compromised—most often it is because of something we have chosen to do (or not do).

Do any of these symptoms resonate with you?  We could identify with more than one or two (not sharing which ones  )

Over the past few years transitioning into my new role as a mother and ministry leader, my body had become so fatigued I
could not function through the day even though I prided myself on choosing the right foods and moderately exercising and
taking what I believed to be the correct daily vitamin and nutritional supplements. In spite of doing ‘right things’ I started
to accumulate fat at a rate more than I had ever had before and ended up in a vicious cycle that I knew was not where I
wanted to be.

One of the mistakes commonly made is by people (myself included) to self-diagnose and seek to become our “sole” or
should I say “soul” practitioner….with the myriad of books and information available to us through various avenues of
technology, we often fall prey to the most convincing and end up spending lots of money and effort without lasting results.

Some of you have heard the story about how our son was healed from Autism through the implementation of a completely
natural process of exercise, nutrition, supplements (and prayer of course!) in the course of a year.

While in Georgia, witnessing the miraculous changes in our son through determination, lifestyle and dietary modifications,
we came across an advertisement for a workshop educating people on the causes of certain things that most of us
struggle with at one time or another. (Please go to our
Practical Resources page for more information).

Since starting the program in June, we have already seen and felt significant changes (transformation) in our bodies from
the things that sought to deter us from our life purpose! With renewed energy and clearer thinking we are looking forward
to the next phase of our journey and all that God has ordained for us to fulfill.

The progress and transformation that I have witnessed in our family over the past year has ignited a passion and what we
believe is a calling on my life to extend encouragement and hope to others.  Back in 2006 during a significant encounter
with the Lord, the Holy Spirit told me we (the Body of Christ) were about to enter a season of “revealing and healing”.
Many of us can probably relate that at the time we receive a “word” we don’t always see the relevance of it until the
witness of the spirit comes.   I believe that this is my time of witness—so much so that I have enrolled in a program to
become a certified life/wellness coach!

It is my goal to assist others to seek the root cause of what is holding us back (revealing) and connect them with proper
resources to see and maintain the healing!

In the meantime, I hope that some of the information that we are sharing in this forum will assist and encourage you to
not lose hope for the days that lie before you!
